Lymphatic Drainage Massage

It utilises a very light pressure combined with soft pumping movements in the direction of the lymph nodes. The process can take anywhere from 60 minutes, concentrating on a localised area, to two hours when working on the whole body. Used for common illnesses like colds, flu and blocked sinuses. It is also recommended for people who are forced to sedentary lifestyles, or those who want to reduce puffiness or swelling. It is also beneficial for problem skin, cellulite, wrinkles, dysfunctional respiratory systems and people with low energy. Very effective for detoxing. Although the lymphatic system was known to the ancient Greeks, it was only when Dr. Vodder and his wife began to apply a gentle massage to stimulate the flow of the lymph to cure many chronic and unexplained illnesses, that the Manual Lymph Drainage was born. It is now recognised as a very ‘powerful’ tool for aiding recovering of a variety of maladies.
